Our fundraising activities provide us with the means to carry out, through our own Branch scholarships and our donations to National AAUW's Educational Foundation and Legal Advocacy Fund, the main goal of AAUW:
helping women and girls to enhance their lives through education.

Used Book SaleThe sale, which will takes place each June is our major fundraiser and provides the means with which we are able to offer local scholarships (see below) and contribute to the National organization’s educational and Legal Advocacy funds.

To prepare for the sale, members volunteer to sort books at our storage facility each Tuesday morning, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, October through May.  This is not an “all work and no play” activity.  There is camaraderie and good conversation, followed by one of the activities listed in “Groups and Activities”.

Members also volunteer to work at the book sale.

Annual Winter Party
A social evening to benefit our Branch.



Lew Williams & Leila Sulkes Scholarships
Scholarship for women in undergraduate or graduate degree programs.

AAUW Art Scholarship
A scholarship awarded to an outstanding student in the Freehold Regional High School District pursuing further study in a field of art.

Outstanding High School Students' Award
The Rose Fishkin Scholarship Awards are given every year to the highest-ranking female graduating senior in each of the six Freehold Regional high schools. The high school selects the female student with the highest grade point average at the end of the third quarter.
